Last week Josh trudged through the icy and perilous conditions of the Yukon to help directors Jeffrey Pohorski and Sven Jansel bring to the world Skunk Film’s teaser for the feature film “The Golden City.” Braving the brutal cold and freezing winds, Josh lost three toes in the process…well, no he didn’t…and they actually filmed near Yosemite in sunny California. But still the conditions became unbearable as Josh had to endure lukewarm coffee and a complete lack of room service. On a more serious note, Josh couldn’t have been happier to have been part of this project playing Jack London in this bio-pic based on his near-fatal trek to gold country at the turn of the century. After taking a brief hiatus, Josh is back! Set to shoot in January in the High Sierras, Josh is starring as Jack London in a teaser for a Jack London bio-pic feature entitled “The Golden City.” God willing, he’ll make the screening, if he doesn’t get carried off by a bear…

Josh has signed on once again with The Prospect Theater playing Tim in Greg Kotis’s Pig Farm. Stay tuned for more details on the off-beat play written by the author of Urinetown.

That’s right, as unlikely as it may seem, Josh is one of three models that are the new faces of Huff construction. A construction firm with operations in the Central Valley and Arizona, Huff decided to use Josh despite his clear cut lack in mechanical skills (he stabbed himself three times trying to put his screwdriver in his tool belt-don’t worry, it didn’t pierce the skin).

Last weekend Josh embarked on a 700 mile journey up to Humboldt County to star alongside Kurt Yeager in Timothy Plain’s 1001. As you can see, the crew captured some beautiful shots.

Josh has just been cast in Timothy Plain’s “1001,” to be filmed in the Lost Coast outside of San Francisco in June. Timothy Plain, a commercial director/producer for Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, will be taking cast and crew camping for the weekend provided Josh is given ample amounts of Smores and Jiffy Pop as delineated in his contract.
