born in 1980 in sunny san diego, california, josh bower seemed to be a normal child with a seemingly unremarkable childhood. now is usually the part in the bio when something cataclysmic or utterly life changing would veer the course of his existence. but, unfortunately, his youth became only more unremarkable when his parents decided to move to the dusty hills of the mojave desert.
being a chubby awkward kid, josh made few friends and found solace in the warm glow that emanated from his television.

Josh has been cast as a restaurant patron in the newest Farrelly Brothers film, set to shoot on location in San Francisco September 27. Fortunately, no zippers, rest stops, or truckers named “Sea Bass” will be involved (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, watch their movies!).

That’s right, after repeated attempts from various educational institutions, as well as family members, to thwart this decision, Josh is seeking a formal education! He has enrolled himself in the prestigious American Conservatory Theatre’s Studio program in San Francisco. Classes begin September 11th, and will conclude in ten weeks. This will be a particular challenge to Josh, in that pop-up books and finger painting will not be included in the curriculum.

Josh was involved in a student project over the weekend entitled “Food Craving Connection.” Hopefully, a clip will be available within the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned, because it is hilarious!

josh thanks all of the visitors to his new site profusely. he wanted to call everyone personally and thank them, but considering the price of international calls, plus the difference in time zones, we finally talked him out of that idea. [People in Germany will be excited to hear this.] We’ve updated josh’s reel so that it loads faster and, finally, we’re adding new resources to his site, including more headshots and his bio.
